Have questions about starting speech therapy? Here are a few quick answers to common questions.
How long are sessions?
Typically, duration of evaluation sessions are 60 minutes and therapy sessions are 30 minutes. All visits are on an individual basis. Frequency is determined by the diagnosis severity and recommendations following evaluation. Visits can take place once to several times per week.
Do you offer virtual services?
Yes. Depending on the clinician’s treatment plan and your insurance plan, secure telehealth appointments are available for both evaluations and ongoing therapy sessions.
Do I need authorization to make an appointment?
Many insurance plans require a referral from your primary care physician or a formal pre-authorization. Our office staff can assist you in determining what your insurance plan requires. We always recommend that you know the specific details and coverage requirements of your individual health plan.
What are your hours of operation?
Our clinic is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Individual clinician’s hours vary. We offer standing appointment times on a first-come, first-served basis based on each clinician’s availability.
